Devil's club (Oplopanax horridus) is a large understory shrub native to the
arboreal rainforests of the Pacific Northwest, but also on a few islands in
Lake Superior. It is noted for its large leaves and woody stems covered in
noxious and irritating spines. All Devil's Club in Richard's Secret Salve was
substantially and locally harvested by me!
