I'm really excited to offer you our newest hair products . . . Chebe Fermented
Rice. This "mini"or "trial size" set comes with a natural woven bag.

Our Chebe Fermented Rice Hair Care Set was designed with natural hair in mind;
however, it's been noted that those with relaxed or permed hair can use it as
well! Our mission is to help you grow + maintain strong, resilient hair +
healthy scalp. Achieving a head full of stronger + longer hair is a process
that will take time. Please be patient with your hair, love on it + be gentle.
Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day but day-by-day.

Chebe (pronounced shea bay), the authentic hair growth remedy from Chad,
Africa, is known for moisturizing, lubricating + strengthening hair, detangles,
helps prevent breakage + shedding, encourages an environment for growing a
healthy, thick + full hair, as well as maintaining length + sheen. At J. Lexi
we only use authentic Chebe powder from the Republic of Chad in Central Africa.

Fermented Rice contains the perfect combination of vitamins, minerals,
antioxidants + amino acids, adds nutrients through the fermentation process
help restore hair’s pH balance, nourish hair follicles to promote healthy hair
growth + improve overall condition of hair.

Some of the key ingredients in rice water include:
Inositol - carbohydrate that helps strengthen your hair and reduces surface
friction.
Amino Acids – help hair regenerate + grow faster.
Vitamins A, C + E – improve hair’s elasticity.
Minerals – help nourish the hair strands.
Allantoin – an organic compound that helps soothe + heal hair and skin.
Ferulic Acid – an antioxidant that nourishes strands.

Yes, you will have “stuff” in your hair! The products contain Chebe powder +
the powder will stay in your hair. The purpose of using Chebe is to achieve a
strong hair + a healthy scalp by using the products in a systematic way,
leaving your hair alone (with the product in it) for 3 to 5 days + using
protective styling.

Step 1: Chebe Fermented Rice pH-Balanced Shampoo
is a gentle pH-balanced shampoo designed to strengthen + detox hair. Our
natural formula doesn't contain parabens, phthalates, sulfates, silicones,
fillers, stabilizers or other nasties. Our shampoo does not get super sudsy or
behave like your typical shampoo. Chebe Fermented Rice Shampoo can be used on
natural or processed hair.

*****PLEASE WASH YOUR HAIR AS RECOMMENDED BELOW*****
Applying too much shampoo will detox your hair too quickly + possibly make
your hair crunchy.
1. Shake to activate; the shampoo will separate.
2. Rinse hair thoroughly with warm water to loosen debris.
3. Apply 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce of shampoo. Massage into scalp and saturate each
strand. Apply a little more, if necessary.
4. Cover hair with a plastic cap to hair + wait at least 5 minutes. The
shampoo will be absorbed into the hair.
5. Reactivate the shampoo by massaging scalp, washing hair, then rinsing
thoroughly.

Shampooing your hair MONTHLY is recommended.

Ingredients: ionized acid water, castor oil, extra virgin olive oil, coconut
oil, beef tallow, lecithin, lactic acid, chebe powder, rice aloe vera leaf,
essential oil blend of peppermint, rosemary + lavender

Step 2: Chebe Fermented Rice Moisturizing Deep Conditioner
is pH-balanced and was designed to moisturize, restore + deep condition
strands, curls + coils. Chebe Fermented Rice Moisturizing Deep Conditioner can
be used on natural and processed hair.
Directions: Use after shampooing hair with Chebe Fermented Rice Shampoo. Apply
a small amount to wet hair, massage into scalp + hair (from roots to ends),
comb through with fingers to detangle, then cover with a plastic cap for at
least 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly + lightly dry with a t-shirt or paper towel.
Do not overly agitate or dry hair, leave it damp.

Using the Conditioner MONTHLY is recommended.

Ingredients: ionized acid water, glycerin, natural emulsifying conditioner,
hydrogenated vegetable oil, avocado oil, panthenol, beet sugar extract, chebe
powder, rice, aloe vera leaf, raw wildflower honey, natural full-spectrum
preservative, alkyl esters, essential oil blend of lavender, rosemary +
peppermint

Step 3: Chebe Karkar Growth Oil
is a concentrated oil formulated to nourish hair + scalp and provide creating
an environment for healthy hair, growth + retention. Chebe Strengthening +
Growth Oil can be used on natural + processed hair.

Directions: Apply a small amount to damp hair + massage into scalp with balls
of fingers for a minute or 2. Make sure to massage into hairline.

Can be applied to the scalp a couple times a week, as needed.

Ingredients: karkar oil, extra virgin olive oil, Jamaican black castor oil,
argan oil, jojoba oil, mustard seed oil, coconut oil, broccoli oil, watercress
oil, carrot oil, ostrich oil, chebe powder, espresso, hops, rice, neem leaves,
bamboo, rosemary

Steps 4 + 5 work together. Section hair, spritz Elixir, apply Butter put hair
into medium to large twists or braids.

Step 4: Chebe Fermented Rice Hydrating + Moisturizing Elixir
Chebe Fermented Rice Hydrating + Moisturizing Elixir is pH-balanced; was
formulated to hydrate, strengthen + penetrate hair quickly. Elixir does NOT
contain Chebe particles. Our Chebe Elixir can be used on natural + processed
hair.

Directions: Shake to activate. Spray on hair to saturate from hairline to
scalp to ends before applying Chebe Butter. Can be used alone for twist outs +
wash and goes. If you have the Ionized Acid Water (IAW), alternate between the
IAW and the Elixir.

Ingredients: ionized acid water, natural preservative, fermented aloe vera
leaf, chebe powder, rice, beet sugar extract, swiss chard, sweet potato,
carrots, onion, romaine lettuce, spinach, watercress, rice, bamboo, rosemary,
lavender + peppermint essential oil blend

Step 5: Chebe Butter
Chebe Butter contains a generous portion of chebe powder + also fermented
black rice, carrots + hops for an extra hair strengthening, moisturizing +
growth boost. Chebe Butter can be used on natural + processed hair. See
directions below for using on processed hair.
Directions for natural hair: Saturate medium sections of hair with Chebe
Fermented Rice Hydrating + Moisturizing Elixir (or Ionized Acid Water), then
apply Chebe Butter at the scalp then smoothing it down stands making sure to
coat the ends. Comb through with fingertips or wide-tooth comb. Put hair in
medium double-strand twists or braids, spray hair again with Chebe Elixir or
Ionized Acid Water.

Give yourself enough time to apply the Butter AND allow hair to air dry (I do
my hair in the morning when I will be in the house for several hours). When
dry, protect your hair by covering with a satin or silk cap, especially when
sleeping.

Ingredients: hydrogenated vegetable oil, beef tallow, ostrich oil, chebe
powder, fermented black rice, carrots, hops, essential oil blend

Reapply every 3 to 5 days. When it’s time to reapply, untwist + dampen hair.
Pick up with Step 3.

Our Chebe Fermented Rice Hair Growth Strategy can be used on processed, permed
+ relaxed hair.
Directions:

Step 1: Wet hair, apply Chebe Butter to hair in sections + detangle with
fingers. Cover with plastic cap + leave on hair for at least 2 hours.
Step 2: Shampoo hair. Follow directions above.
Step 3: Deep Condition hair.
Step 4: Spritz hair with Chebe Elixir
Step 5: Seal with Chebe Karkar Growth Oil
Step 6: Style as usual.

***Important Note*** The Chebe Butter contains actual ground Chebe, fermented
rice, carrots + hops that will remain in your hair. Use caution when removing
the twists/braids, as some dried ingredients will fall out of your hair onto
clothes. I keep a lint brush in my bag . . . just in case.
When I have meetings and want to wear a twist-out, I simply untwist my hair,
massage my scalp for a minute or two and run my fingers through my hair to
remove any loose Chebe before getting dressed. Then when I get back home I
re-twist my hair.

I’ve achieved over 1-1/2 inches of hair growth in about 40 days or so.
