My Sub Alpine Meadow 2 in 1 zero waste shampoo/conditioner bar has bright
notes of cleansing tea tree and floral notes of wild lavender. This is my
favorite recipe to date and I’m excited to share it with you all! I hope that
you love it as much as I do.

For this bar, I carefully hand-selected hair loving, nourishing, and sudzy
oils. I use the most natural, gentle, and moisturizing ingredients. The bar
will clean your hair without stripping it of its natural moisture. The bar
lasts about 12 washes for thick curly-haired folks. They are perfect for your
home shower and traveling. Using solid shampoo bars will leave your hair
feeling healthy, soft, and shiny. This bar is also safe for color treated hair
and for all hair types.

I use simple all-natural plant-based ingredients in my solid shampoo bars. My
shampoo bars are also cruelty and preservative free. Here’s the ingredients
explained in more detail:

SCI = Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is a sulfate free gentle surfactant
(detergent) based fatty acid derived from coconut oil that makes the bar
cleansing and bubbly

CAPB = Cocamidropopyl Betaine is a mild surfactant (detergent) derived from
coconut oil

BTMS-25 = Behentrimonium Methosulfate Cetearyl Alcohol acts as a conditioning
agent and is derived from rapeseed oil

Argan Oil = a hair loving oil that nourishes, strengthens, and protects hair
follicles

Jojoba Oil = moisturizes the scalp, strengthens, and nourishes the hair

Organic Tea Tree & Lavender Essential Oils = for the lovely aromatherapy

How to use the shampoo bar:

Run the bar through water, rub the bar directly in your hair for a bit, then
rinse it out when you’re done. Please ensure you allow your shampoo bar to dry
between each use to give it the
longest life possible. It pairs nicely with a Soap Lift from my shop or a well
draining soap dish with lots of air circulation beneath it.
