Knitter's Helper is inspired by the need for the purest and healthiest product
possible. This is a salve that both softens by using cold pressed oils,
calendula, ethically sourced bee's wax and comfrey, which eases the aches and
pains of creaky or tired joints with a dash of cayenne infused oil for the
natural pain relief provided by the capsaicin in the cayenne oil. As a bonus,
Knitter's Helper also brightens tattoos, and softens dry feet and elbows.

Our story:

Knitter's Helper was inspired because in my family, several of us have a
collagen disorder (EDS) and it makes us all extremely sensitive to artificial
chemicals. We are a tribe of knitters and crocheters. The collagen disorder
coupled with knitting makes our hands very dry and our skin very fragile, and I
have tried everything to solve my dry skin challenges, without making myself
ill from the chemicals that are in all commercial products, all to no avail. I
came across some really interesting clinical studies that all found significant
efficacy of the various herbs and plants used in my product. Everything
converged, when I realized that being able to control the ingredients myself, I
can create a product with the best available ingredients, like, all cold
pressed organic oils, plants grown with my own hands that are pesticide, hexane
and chemical free, and the waxes are all organic and ethically sourced.

While we triple screen our infused plant oils, there are small pieces of plant
fiber that occasionally slip through this process. If you find small flecks of
plant matter, this is normal, and unavoidable when making natural products
artisanally.

Knitter's Helper will have limited availability, based on the amount of
comfrey and calendula that I am able to grow in my permaculture urban food
forest in a season and because there are no artificial ingredients and no
preservatives.

USE EXTERNALLY ONLY. Please store in a cool place, because this product is
made from all natural ingredients, it can spoil if not stored in a cool and dry
location.
