This cuddly koala hot water bottle cover is hand-stitched and made from a
natural & durable, thick merino wool felt, to keep your hottie and you toasty
warm!

Materials / care:

Each piece is hand-stitched with a poly-core cotton thread for durability.

Each piece is made from (commercially made) merino wool felt. A proportion of
the merino wool derives from Australia, and it is felted abroad (with there
being no local commercial felting facility in Australia). The hot water bottle
covers are made entirely from “biofelt”, which are undyed felt made from
natural fleece colours. All felt used by my menagerie complies with
international standards (Oeko-Tex® Standard 100) in having no nasties in the
dyes & materials.

Gentle hand wash in lukewarm water, to protect & care for the wool felt and
hand-stitched aspects of the piece. Line dry.

The cases can create some sweat/moisture when a freshly filled hot water
bottle is placed in them, and tends to ease with more use. The thick felt may
develop some creasing with the application of heat, which can ease with further
application of heat. Some pilling may occur after a long time of use, due to
the nature of the woollen material used, and any pilling can readily be removed
with a wool pilling comb.
