I lost time when I smelled Jasmine hydrosol. It was unexplainable.
Breathtaking. The sweet candy notes were a flash back to Pharaonic times, a
boat ride along the Nile, a walk in the temple at Karnak: the hot sun shining
on cartouches I struggled to decipher. One sniff at the distillery was enough
to recognize that I was in the presence of a sublime Jasmine, one I would
struggle to describe.

This is the first Jasmine hydrosol in our apothecary. Like many late bloomers
in our line, this Jasmine was not added until I knew we had a very good one.
Before I had washed the Red Sea out of my freshly hennaed hair, I was working
with this gorgeous hydrosol, drawing on its powers of narcotic sweetness,
suggestion of calm. It evened my skin tones beautifully, like I was born with
perfect skin. And also like I was in love.

Shelf life: 12 to 18 months. Refrigerate to prolong freshness.
