quickly build up in hair adding unwanted weight and blocking the hair shaft
from absorbing needed moisture. Our silicone free conditioner formulas use
natural oils, emollients, humectants, and botanical extracts to nourish strands
and help your hair feel like real hair again!

To Use: Apply a small amount to wet hair after cleansing and work through.
Rinse thoroughly after a few minutes.
For hair that is fine, limp, or oily: Apply only to ends of hair. Do not apply
to roots.
For hair that is dry, curly, or coarse: Apply to ends of hair and comb
through. Apply to roots if needed.

Super Mane shampoo and conditioner is also suitable for color treated and
bleached hair. Many clients feel that their haircolor appears more lustrous
after cleansing and conditioning with Super Mane.

Hops will give you that effect without drying out your strands!

Ginkgo Biloba: This amazing herb helps to strengthen the hair follicle and is
currently being used both as a supplement and a topical treatment to encourage
hair growth and prevent hair loss.

Nettle: Nettle also helps to reduce hair fall and encourage growth, and
provides excellent volume and shine.

Horse Tail Grass: Yet another herb that helps to promote hair growth, horse
tail grass extract helps to moisturize strands, improve texture & shine, and
improve elasticity.

Fulvic Acid: This nutritional powerhouse is beginning to show up everywhere!
Fulvic acid helps to reduce scalp inflammation, encourage hair growth, and
thicken & strengthen individual strands.

Isoamyl Laurate & Heptyl Undecylenate: These ingredients are plant derived
silicone replacements that are safe to you and the environment. They help to
detangle, control frizz & static, and they won’t build up in your hair!

Sodium Lactate, Sodium PCA, & dl-Panthenol: These ingredients provide superb
moisturizing abilities. Dl-Panthenol also has the ability to attach to damaged
hair strands and assist in repair.

quality formulation and manufacturing. Our natural-based line consists of
ingredients that are sustainably sourced and bio-friendly.

Our packaging: Many considerations go into packaging, and remaining
environmentally friendly is often a challenge. Packaging must keep the product
stable, free from contamination, and be safe to use by the consumer. Currently,
we package Super Mane shampoo in HDPE plastic which is safe for the consumer
and is recyclable. We feel that this is currently the most responsible option,
but we are always on the lookout for more sustainable choices.

The Astra Terra story: I created Astra Terra after 17 years of working as a
hair stylist. Although I was working with award winning professional salon
products, I noticed an increasing number of clients bringing in their own
shampoos, conditioners, and styling products. Some had developed allergic
reactions to common cosmetic ingredients, and some were experiencing headaches
from overly fragranced products. Others had decided against using products with
ingredients that had a negative environmental impact or health risks associated
with them. However, many of these natural products were low performing and did
not address the needs of the clients’ hair, making styling increasingly
difficult. Why couldn’t a natural product perform like a professional product?
I believed that it was in fact possible, and at this point I began studying
cosmetic formulation and developed Astra Terra.
